Hand hammered solid Sterling silver Grillwork pendant. Decorating the center is a cube twist going through a split and drifted hole inside a Scroll that collared to the outside frame. A locking wedge in the shape of a split scroll is locking the cube twist to the scroll through the split hole (square peg through a roundish hole) The outer frame has a heavy cube like hammered texture to mimic the cube twist and it is attached to the grand by a is Chisled groove decorated collar, at the top of the pendant, the right frame ends with a flared Scroll. The other side ends with a punched hole that has a Scroll going through and then wrapping around the frame. The teardrop shadows bail is attached through the backside of the collar.

It was completely forged from a solid Sterling silver 6 guage square stock

It was hand forged with a hammer and stale anvil and joined using traditional blacksmith techniques. I forged to a thick gauge of silver throughout. which gives the pendant a nice heft . I did solder to reinforce the joinry to insure it would not come loose due to the softness of Sterling compared to iron. (No sokder is visible, not used for joinry purposes).

It weighs approximately 32 grams which is over 1 Troy Oz.
