Box chains are my favorite because they don’t crimp (can sleep wearing it) , they have great sparkle when they move on your neck and they are very durable. 

This is not a cheap throwaway chain, it’s not the thickest chain made, but you will feel secure wearing it for years to come without worry, even if you put a heavy pendant on it.
